Aiden knows Jesus, on Earth and now in Heaven.
Without his faith and our faith, we could not say we will see him again one day.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Do you know Him? If not, we want to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with you.

Football

Aiden loved football. He was made for it.
He will forever be #27.
He wanted others to love it just as much as he did. We support youth and high school athletes by helping cover some of the costs, if there is a financial hardship.
In 2023, we awarded the 1st Legacy 27 Football scholarship to 1 graduating senior at Walnut Grove High School. We were blessed to award a scholarship again in 2024 to 1 deserving football player.
We host an annual fall flag football tournament, open to kids of all ages, to learn a little bit about football and to share the love of the sport. Check out "Events" for more details.
Fishing

Aiden fished at our pond almost everyday, including the day he died.
Now called “Aiden’s Pond”, we host an annual Good Friday Fishing Tournament to teach kids how to fish and be “fishers of men”. Matthew 4:19
Fishing connects us to nature, which ultimately connects us to creation and to our Creator.
It is more than just sitting outside, casting a line. Fishing represents time alone to think, to pray, to reflect, to take in nature. When enjoyed with others, it is also quality time away from the chaos of the world and our culture's obsession with technology.
Give it a try, with us or on your own. Aiden knew it made him better.
Aiden & Gigi have been reunited in Heaven!
Our beloved Gigi (Aiden’s grandmother), mom, board member, and friend - Charlotte Carter - was welcomed into heaven on Wednesday March 20, 2024. Charlotte is one of the original board members since Legacy 27 began on February 22, 2022. She was our biggest cheerleader telling friends and strangers about Aiden and the work that Legacy 27 continues in his memory.
We pause to remember her legacy and to pray for the family she leaves behind.
Oh how wonderful the thought of Jesus welcoming her to heaven and Aiden barreling her over with hugs and kisses!
