This has been an idea of our youngest board member for several years and we are working out the details for Summer 2025.
Kids and adults will compete in a homerun derby.
Prizes, concessions, dunk tank, and more.

L27 Golf Tournament - Scholarship Scramble
Come out for our 1st EVER Legacy 27 Golf Tournament!!
The date and location have been set and we’re excited to offer a nearby location at a great club.
This event will raise money for our Legacy 27 Football scholarship fund, which is a scholarship given away each year to a graduating senior from a local high school football team. This scholarship is for a young man with a fierce mind, brave heart, generous personality, and a spirit that reminds us of Aiden. These student athletes may or may not be going to college, but this scholarship will certainly get them started in a direction that God ordained for their future.
Help us reach our goal to award this scholarship this year and many years to come!!!
Tournament is a 4 person scramble.
Cost is $127 per person or $500 per team.
Lunch is included.
Registration will open in July. More details to come if you would like to be a sponsor.
4th Annual - 2025 Good Friday Kids Fishing Tournament
This is our most memorable event and is the original event before Legacy 27 began.
We honor Aiden, his life, and his passion for fishing.
It’s on Good Friday so we can honor Jesus and what He has done for all mankind. Good Friday is the day Jesus died on the cross.
This event is FREE to attend.
Feel free to bring tailgate chairs to sit in around the pond or a small cooler with your favorite drinks or snacks.
We will provide a meal after the competition.
Raffle tickets will be for sale with some cool prizes.
Shirts are optional this year and available for purchase if you’d like the original “OG” green shirt or the newer 2024 grey and blue camo. If you attended previous years, wear your shirt again with us.
Last year, we sold out a week before the event so don’t wait to register! Space is limited around the pond to 127 guests.

Make-up Date for 2024 Legacy League Flag Football Tournament
Thank you to the players and spectators for coming out on Sunday 9/29/24!
Sadly, we had to end the competition early due to the Biolab chemical fire in neighboring Rockdale County. BUT… We have great news! Walnut Grove High School has given us Sunday 11/3/2024 to finish the competition!
If you attended on 9/29 and can join us again on 11/3, arrive at 2:00 pm wearing your black and gold shirt, check-in at the tent so we know you’re back, and we will get the competition started ASAP.
If you missed the 1st event and want to attend, arrive at 1:45 pm to register onsite for $27 and we will add you to a team. NOTE: T-shirt sizes will be VERY limited for this make-up event, but we’d love to have you compete.
This make-up will be the competition piece of the tournament ONLY. Not a repeat of our guest speaker, Brett Johnson, or our wonderful cheerleaders and banner. We thank Brett Johnson and our cheerleaders for these key pieces that make our events unique!

3rd Annual - 2024 Good Friday Fishing Tournament
This will be our 3rd year hosting the Good Friday Fishing Tournament at Aiden’s Pond.
A tournament designed to teach kids how to fish and become fishers of men. Our volunteers will help kids bait their hooks, cast their lines, and reel in their catch. The largest catch wins 1st prize! We provide a meal and some fun give-a-ways. We will have shirts for sale for adults and a raffle to fundraise. Last, but certainly not least, we celebrate Good Friday, what it means, and we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

2023 Legacy League Flag Football Tournament
The 2nd Annual Legacy League Flag Football Tournament of Champions will be hosted at the Walnut Grove High School football stadium this year!!!
Players of all ages (that's mean adults too) are welcome to register. You don't need a whole team to play. Teams will be created for all ticket holders. T-shirt is included in the registration fee if purchased by 9/10/2023.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st & 2nd place teams.
Food and concessions will be available at the event.

We’re keeping the tradition alive and hosting our 2nd Annual Good Friday Fishing Tournament at Aiden’s Pond.
2022 Legacy League Flag Football & Cheerleading Tournament
We are hosting a flag football competition and cheer off on Sunday, September 25, 2022. We want to host this event to remember our friend while also raising money to help spread smiles to less fortunate kids.
In addition to a fun flag football and cheerleading competition, we will have snacks, prizes and a raffle. We hope you can join us for an amazing day to remember and celebrate a kid who was larger than life!
